wineCellar Release 1.1 Available

The next version of Cadent wineCellar, version 1.1, is now available!  This version bring support for Windows XP (and Vista once I get access to a Vista machine to verify that it works there).  The Mac version has been updated to version 1.1 so it will be able to fully access the wine databases created using the Windows version.

This means you can move wine databases between Mac and Windows-based machines and the copy of wineCellar on that machine will be able to use it.

The Windows version has all the same features as the Mac version.  As such, we won't be creating a new set of screencasts at this time as the Mac ones are fully applicable to Windows.

Both Mac and Windows licenses are $20US.  Version 1.1 for the Mac is a free upgrade to anyone with a 1.0 license.

Windows Version Coming!

I have indicated that a Windows version of Cadent wineCellar is in the works for the end of November.  Well, it is December 2nd and people are asking: "Where is it?".  I'm just writing to say: it is very close now!  I'm just finalizing an installer for it and have to do some final testing to ensure stability.  Beyond that I can happily say it has all the same features as the Mac version so the existing screencasts are 100% applicable to the upcoming Windows version.
